Media accreditation is strictly reserved for members of the press - print, photo, radio, TV, film, news agencies and online media - who represent a media organization/ media outlet (*see below). Accreditation will be submitted for approval by the organisers upon completion of the online accreditation form.

Print, Radio and TV media representatives or Photographers and Cameramen will be asked to submit a valid press / work pass on the day of the event.

Please note that filming during the Music Concerts is strictly not permitted unless a special media pass is issued to camera crew.
Independent broadcast or film production companies are required to provide proof from a broadcast organization with information on where (channel) and when the program will air.

Online media must meet the following requirements, in addition to those above:
• The web publication must belong to a registered company, such as a media organization, and have a specific, verifiable non-web address and a telephone number.

• If the web site is new, the applicant seeking accreditation must provide the latest data on the site's visitors or other relevant material (press citations, etc.) about the outlet's audience. Note that online blogs do not qualify for media accreditation here.

Freelance Journalists: Freelance journalists can only obtain accreditation for a specific event or time period. Freelance journalists, including photographers, must provide clear evidence they are on assignment from a specific news organization or publication. A valid assignment letter from that news organization, or publication, is required.

Status of Application: Please check your e-mail for messages informing you of the status of your application. You will be notified within 5 working days upon your application online, of the status of your application.

Press Passes are good for one individual only and are non-transferable. Press Passes are good for entry to all free events held at the Anime Festival Asia 09. For participation at Animation Asia Conference on 20 November 2009– please submit your requests in advance by 13 November 2009.

Please note: Press Passes do not guarantee seating and do not include admission into any ticketed Special Events. Additionally, Press Passes do not guarantee interviews with Anime Festival Asia guests. In order to obtain Special Events tickets or request an interview, you must contact Florence Ang or Shawn Wang from the press office by 13 November 2009.

Picking Up the Media Press Pass
Once you receive an e-mail confirming that your request for accreditation has been approved, you can obtain your media press pass from November 19 to 21 outside the event venue(s).

*Note on bona fide media organization

If this Accreditation is approved, an Accreditation Pass will be issued by the organizers of the Anime festival Asia 09 for the sole purpose of providing limited access to the designated holder during the event.

This Accreditation Pass is personal, non‐transferable and revocable at any time at the organizing committee’s sole discretion. Unauthorized use, alteration or dealing with this Accreditation Pass may result in the temporary or permanent removal of the Accreditation Pass and the possessor's and/or the Holder's ejection from the premises.

The holder assumes all risks incidental to his/her actions, assumes all risks incidental to his/her attending the event, and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the organizers from any and all claims, damages, losses, costs and liabilities including, without limitation, personal injuries and/or property losses, caused by, resulting from or in connection with his/her presence at the event.

The holder may not broadcast, publicize or make commercial use of any visual or audio media of any kind of the Event if it breaches any licensing contracts agreed to by the organizers of Anime Festival Asia. The holder also recognizes that he/she must immediately report the theft, loss or unauthorized use of the Accreditation Pass. Acceptance of an Accreditation Pass constitutes agreement by the holder of the foregoing conditions.
